Sterling Aviation has nearly 25 years of experience managing aircraft in a safe, secure and cost-effective manner. We take pride in our ability to totally manage the ownership process so that our clients can focus on their core businesses. Sterling is able to fully manage or charter manage your aircraft at any location worldwide.

Management types offered by Sterling include:

Fully Managed Aircraft

Turn-key management, with YOUR aircraft based either at a Sterling Aviation facility or at a remote location readily accessible to our client. All aspects of aircraft operations are managed on your behalf, including but not limited to crew management and training, aircraft maintenance, insurance and hangar, scheduling, and charter activities. Sterling becomes your “personal flight department.”

Charter Managed Aircraft

Your aircraft is placed on Sterling’s Part 135 Air Carrier Certificate, allowing you to receive charter revenue to offset operating costs. Charter managed aircraft are typically based at a non-Sterling location and are staffed and maintained by the owner’s existing flight department. Sterling handles all aspects of charter administration including trip quoting, scheduling, invoicing and collections.

Hybrid Programs

While our management services tend to be based on either a full-management or charter-management model, there is no “one size fits all” philosophy at Sterling. In fact, the vast majority of programs are built on a blended platform – individually tailored to unique client needs and travel profiles, while providing the level of charter revenue desired.
