Fuel Prices

As one of the major operating cost components in aviation, fuel prices are the subject of intense interest by all who fly on or own an aircraft.

Sterling Aviation maintains two 12,000 gallon fuel farms at our headquarters operation at Milwaukee’s Mitchell Field (MKE) which, under terms of our lease with Milwaukee County, may be used to fuel aircraft that are part of Sterling’s managed charter fleet. Sterling does not operate as an FBO and therefore does not fuel aircraft outside of our managed charter fleet.

Following are sources for additional information on fuel prices. All Sterling aircraft are turbine-powered and burn “Jet A” fuel.

  • Search fuel prices by specific airport or locality from AirNav.com.
